Rush

Being hurried, is a normal situation in our day-to-day live. We rush out off the bed to get shower before being late for work. Many of you, hurt your gum while brushing teeth in rush. In driving, we sometimes fail to yield for a pedestrians who already step into the road. We run onto the escalator. We stick our hand to block a closing elevator door. When we in rush, we are putting ourselves in many types of dangerous situation.

If you really want to see how “rush” can activate unsafe behavior, just look around you. On the road, truck drivers rushes through the yellow light. Grab mans, speeding through the gap between cars in order that they can do more deliveries. In the office, people rushes to get into the elevators because they are late for work.

When in rush we tentatively for get about safety. These are what we usually do when we are in a hurry;

  1. Overspeed
  2. Fail to give signal
  3. In the line of fire
  4. Fail to secure
  5. Expose to slip trip and fall
  6. Expose to dangerous mechanical motion
  7. Expose to heat, or hot surface
  8. Taking a shortcut
  9. Break the rules.
  10. Stressful
