กฏหมายที่เกี่ยวกับสารเคมีอันตราย วัตถุอันตราย มีอยู่หลายที่หลายกระทรวง นี่เป็นประกาศกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม ที่มีผลยกเลิกประกาศกระทรวงเมื่อปี 2556
Confined Space
Workers died in a confined space!… The very big question that employer to answer is WHY? Answering to that question will begin with saying that the workers went into space and they died. The space has some kind toxic gas. I did not know what it is.
Construction Safety
The Construction Safety regulations has been updated again and again and yet the fatal accidents from construction sites has never been decreased. Is it the law too weak?
How heavy you can lift
In a third world, laboring children, pregnant women is very common. The way that government to show “I do care for your health and safety is to set up some guideline to restrict how heavy each type of the labor can carry. Not thing to do with ergonomic risk assessment. Just a number.
Employee welfare
There are so many complaints about inadequate arrangements of these basic need, drinking water, kept cleaned toilet, first aid and medical supplies, doctor and nurse services, emergency vehicles, or 24 hour medical services by a near by hospitals. Workers said it is not adequate while the employer said it is more than enough.
Scaffolds
Scaffolding collapsed killed many workers is very common in this country. It happened almost on weekly basis. May be the high standard scaffolds is that clear to be referred to when hiring a contractor. Or may be, it is too expensive to touch.
Confined Space
” I here by certify that the confined space is safe to entry”…. Some one like to put one side of his leg into a jail by ignoring the other side of this law.
Radio active hazards
Replacing the old laws which had been used for 20 years ago. This laws has definition to cover nuclear sources, nuclear waste, and so on. It is more control than the old version.
Too high to fall
Help!!! and janitor fell from the window while she was cleaning it. Or, opps!! a hammer from the top of scaffold dropped on a head of pedestrian. Clearly, you might go to jail because of these.
Too hot, Too cold, Too Dark, To bright, Too noisy but not too quiet
This law is pretty straight forward in a way of preventing harm from too hot, too cold, too dark, too noisy. First thing employer should know is our workers is working under what category- Light works, Medium Works and Heavy Works. Then, making sure it is not too hot and over the limit. Some times it is not easy for example, the construction workers work out door under the hot sun light. How possible the temperature is under the limit.
