Who is a Safety Officer Management Level?
Here is some explanation for you. If you are an employee, at management level, you will need to be trained, certified and appointed by your employer.
Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Co-ordinating, Controlling, Budgeting – all of these are what managers do on a daily basis. What about Safety? Why me?… I am a finance manager, why I have to attend this program.? Very simple and short answer to that is You are the one who say yes or no when a supervisor comes to you. To help them safe, sometimes, they need budget to replace a broken machine. Sometime, they want you to know what should have been improved to make it safe.
