Scenario: It’s Tuesday morning. The Anodizing Line is backed up.
The Response A: “Yesterday I dipped some rails. Today I’m dipping more. No problems.”
Result: The shop floor keeps sending more rails to the back-up. The pile grows. No one helps.
The Response B: “Yesterday I finished the matte black batch. Today I’m focusing on the clear-coat order. I am blocked by the hoist sensor—it’s intermittent. I’m running at 50% speed.”
Result: The Foreman hears “50% speed” and tells the Welding team to slow down their handoff and help Maintenance fix the hoist. Crisis averted.
