If the Other Party or Police Threaten You

Stay in the Car: Lock the doors. Do not engage in an argument or use profanity (to avoid “insulting an officer” charges).
Call 191 Immediately: State that you are being intimidated or feel unsafe.
Refuse to Sign: Never sign any document you don’t fully understand or feel pressured into signing. Insist on waiting for a lawyer or a trusted relative.
