Health hazards in the office

Nowadays, office syndromes are known as a popular health problem for people in the office. If you randomly ask people around you that do you have shoulder pain, wrist pain, back pain, eye strain, headache, sleeping disorder, bla bla bla... Trust Me, a lot of them say yes "I do"

Office workers usually rewarded with these health issues;

  • WMSD- Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder
  • Eyes problems
  • Headache
  • Stress
  • Sleep disorder
  • Allergic
  • Gastrointestinal Issues
  • Obesity
  • Respiratory Problems

Office equipment such as copy machine, generates ozone gas when it works. Toners dust when spreading, it can cause irritation or long term health effects.

Back pain, and all ergonomic issues are the result of poor behavior in posture, repetitive motion combined with poor workstation design.

Eyes strain -mainly from glare. The lights reflecting from work surface, glare from computer screen, sun glare from the window of the building next to you.

However, all of these can take years or many years until you can feel and say Oh!! Ya!!
