This is a one-day training program which is designed and targeting for providing knowledge, skill-set
and competencies for the participants to be able to perform the roles of Chemical Spill and Leakage
handling as a first responder.
Handling hazardous material or dangerous goods, loading, unloading, transportation, or operating
vehicle used for transporting material are critical jobs. Accidentally leak out hazardous material can
lead to serious injury, violent chemical reaction, flammable gas, or toxic gas generation. These
situations require;
• Safe and quick responsive action
• Precise and clear communication with the technical HAZMAT team or other emergency
response teams
• Safe and effective technique to contain or control the spillage or leakage before it can cause
more damage.
• Safe and effective technique to salvage or clean-up the spillage without causing pollution to
environment.
HAZMAT (First Responder)
Hazardous Chemical spill and leakage can be worsen when the situation is become out of control. The role of HAZMAT First Responder is very important. Not trying to be a hero to stop the lake but to get the Technical HAZAT Team a precise, and complete information while keeping everyone safe is the priority.
