Legally, when there is an accident in a workplace, someone is going to be held accountable for something. That is most of the executives who come to this class always set their expectation for. They want to know Safety Laws and Regulations in Thailand.
Accident is a chain of failure within the organization. Having a sustainable management system that integrates safety into each of the business agenda, needs managers understanding. This program is not a teaching you to be a professional safety officer but to make you be a safety leadership.
Who is to be a Safety Officer Management Level
It is a requirement by the Occupational Safety, Health and environment act B.E. 2554 (A.D. 2011).
Section 13 An Employer shall provide the Safety Officer, personnel, working unit, or group of persons to operate the safety in establishment according to criteria, methods and terms as prescribed in the ministerial regulation.
Section 16 an employer shall provide an occupational safety, health and environment training to be attended by an executive, a Supervisor and an employee in order to safely administer, manage and operate the occupational safety, health and environment.
Answering to the above question, Safety Officer Management Level is
- An employee who are at the management or executive level
- Has been trained and Certified
- Has been appointed by the employer
- Has a set of regulatory related accountabilities to perform.
